The Jebel Saghro is a volcanic massif made of disturbed rocks, rocky peaks and basaltic conglomerates. This massif, separates the valley of the Draa to the Dades Valley. Its highest point is Amalou N’mnsour reaching 2700 m. The scenery is almost lunar; it is a very mineral world, raw and sometimes interspersed with narrow valleys and deep canyons. Here and there you will meet the Ait Atta nomads who come down from M’goun at the cold season in order to graze their herds of goats and camels.
